Ferry Schedules
The Ferries in the Virgin Islands can expect delays and changes in schedule. Leaving oneself plenty of time to catch transfers and get where you’re going is a smart idea.
It is also suggested that you go to the ferry station at least 30 minutes before your departure time. You’ll be able to buy tickets and locate the right pier that way.
Remember that even on cloudy days, the sun in the Virgin Islands may be intense. Take precautions against sunburn and dehydration by packing sunscreen, a hat, and plenty of water for the trip.
PRO TIP:
If you are planning on taking one of the last Car ferries of the day get there plenty of time ahead (30-45 Min) and have a pre purchased ticket for your car. The last Ferry is always the busiest and the companies give preference on loading to the cars that have a ticket purchased!
